This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Rallyn mobile application (the "App"). This App is provided by David Lino (the "Developer", "we", "us", or "our").

Data management

The App is designed with your privacy at its core. All of the personal data you generate while using the App, such as your match scores, statistics, and opponent information, is stored exclusively on your local device.

iCloud Sync

You have the option to use Apple's iCloud service to back up and sync your App data across your devices. This process is managed by you and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud account or the data you store in it.

Information We Do Not Collect

At this moment, we do not create a user account for you, and we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) on our servers.

Third-Party Services

To provide and improve our service, we use a limited number of third-party services that may collect anonymous or non-personally identifiable data.

1. RevenueCat (for In-App Purchases)
   • Purpose: To manage and verify your subscriptions and in-app purchases.
   • Data: RevenueCat generates an anonymous user identifier to track your purchase status. It does not have access to your personal data or the content you create in the App.

2. Firebase Crashlytics (for Crash Reporting)
   • Purpose: To identify and fix crashes and bugs in the App, helping us improve its stability and performance.
   • User Consent and Control: Crash analytics are only collected with your explicit consent. You can enable or disable crash reporting at any time through the app's settings page.
   • Data: We use Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, Inc., to collect and analyze crash data. This service helps us to improve the stability and performance of our application. Crashlytics collects certain data, including but not limited to, device state information, unique device identifiers, and location data. This information is used solely for the purpose of crash analysis and is not used to personally identify you.
   • Data Transfer: Please note that the data collected by Crashlytics is transferred to and stored on servers in the United States, which is subject to U.S. law.
   • Data Retention: Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days.

3. TelemetryDeck (for App Usage Analytics)
   • Purpose: We use the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck to analyze app usage data. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve its functionality and performance.
   • Legal Basis: The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.
   • Data Collected: The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information. The following data is collected:
     • An anonymized, untraceable user ID (per app installation)
     • Actions defined by the app publisher (e.g., "app launched," "settings opened")
     • A rounded timestamp (to the nearest hour)
     • Device metadata (e.g., system version, app version, device type)
     • Additional metadata defined by the app publisher (e.g., "number of items in the database")
   • What is NOT stored:
     • No IP addresses (not in logs, not in the database)
     • No cookies or tracking technologies
     • No persistent identifiers that could be traced back to individuals

Advertising

The free version of the App may display non-personalized advertisements. These ads are not targeted based on your personal data or activity within the App.

Data Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you are in control of its security. We recommend using the security features of your device, such as passcodes and biometric authentication, to protect your information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
